Have you ever had a friend that was murdered?

This weekend, we will be attending the funeral of a child hood friend that was killed on last weekend. As you can imagine, the family is devasted. The faher and his son were best friends. Our families are close and we all grew up together. Unfortunately, the son was killed because he thought his wife was shot so he went after the guys and they shot him in the head - twice. His wife is fine, she just fainted. The services are tomorrow and this will be a very sad service. I personally have a strong belief in God and I believe He is going to carry us through this. I'm curious to know how did you deal with the death of a friend that was murdered?
