I think that even Benfica didnĀ“t achieved any title this year, the stats reveal the best team of the last sixteen years. So in my opinion he should stay. What do you think?

Yes, but with the departure of Fabrizio Micolli, an important part of that dream just went up in smoke!!!

I think, that he should stay, because in one year a coach, no matter how good, can't improve a team. The football world moves too fast nowadays, and the quality of the game suffers with that. He should stay for at least two more years. In fact, 3 years is the time a coach needs to prove himself. But, I don't think it will happen, specially after Joe Berardo proposed buying 60% of the shares. This sounds similar to what happened with chelsea and Abramovich. My guess is, once he takes over, he'll hire a superstar coach from another country and buy some more brazillian players. Then all the work Fernando Santos has done will be lost and benfica will have to start from scratch again. Oh, well.... C'est la vie. Cheers, -jdvoid
