Question for parents!

Ok so within the next 2 days I will become the stepmom of 3 children, aged 4, 6 an 7, there are 2 boys and a girl, and as I am new to this parent thing I would like the know what is 'essential' to have in the house while there here!? suggestions please!! Im lost!
