I was recently responding to a discussion in the topic of "dogs". I am a newbie here, and now I'm just confused. What is the point of a discussion if you are not supposed to respond more than once. Then it is no longer a discussion. Someone just told me that I was in violation of mylot rules.

Did you respond in the same section as your first comment or did you create a seperate comment? A discussion is generally you reply to my post, I comment, and then if you want to continue you do so following my comment in the same section as your original comment. I hope this helps. Also you should review the guidelines. It's easier to understand after reading them than trying to figure out what the rules are on your own. Good luck and welcome to mylot.

It is perfectly all right to respond more than once to a discussion. You will only get credited with one post, however.

Thank you, I was not looking for points, just discussing.... I wouldn't want to be in violation of any rules. I went to read the mylot don'ts, and could not see where I might have gone wrong, but like I said, newbie here. lol
thanx again
