Did you have trouble breast feeding your baby?
Just after my baby was born, I decided to give breast feeding a try. Everyone said that it would be the healthiest thing for the baby and easy to do. I found it to be anything but easy, and, couldn't produce enough milk for her. After a few months, we had to switch to formula.
I've always felt so guilty. And, angry at my body for failing me when I needed it the most.
Did this happen to you too? I know that some moms have a really easy time during breast feeding their baby, but others don't. I'm in the latter group.
How do you get your body to cooperate when it just doesn't want to?
Are there any special foods that you eat so that your body produces more milk?
I would love to give it a try again with the next baby.
Any tips you could share that would help with a more productive breast feeding experience would be very much appreciated.

I had a lot of trouble with my oldest but we eventually made it and she's now tandem nursing with her brother. My son though, took to it like a fish in water. He latched on just a minute or two after he was out!
The site kellymom.com was a huge help for me when struggling to BF my oldest. :)

That was 1 thing I was ablt to get right. With my first the nurses thought I was lying about never nursing a baby before because I was comfortable with it and had no problems except that I hade to have special cups due to inverted niples. Once we got that taken care of I had no problems.

I had plenty of milk but for some reason the babies could not get any of it when they nursed. I also was in pain through the whole feeding too. I tryed with all three and the same thing happened which was too bad cause i really wanted to so much better for the baby and the bonding processes too. To make sure you have enough milk i know they told me enough fluids water is the best.
