Why does this always happen to me.

My wife is out of town for the weekend and, just like clockwork, one of my kids gets sick. My little guy is burning up and is currently sleeping it off in a childrens tylenol haze. This happens every time she goes away. The kids and I make big plans and then one or all of us get sick. We met my wife for lunch today and my little guy was half asleep and complaining of a stomach and headache...the wife just looks at me and says "Here you go again"...why does this always happen?

You are not alone, this happens to me all the time, and now that my hubby is gone, it's happening more than ever! My toddler and infant were both really sick. Then they got better and the 2 year old got a terrible rash all over his face. Now the infant is getting congested again. I have no clue why it happens, but I feel better that i'm not alone, heehee, sorry Inked

wow...that must be hard with 4 kids and one on the way...I'm lucky enough to only have 2 and my little guy is like me when he gets sick...he just heads to bed and sleeps it off only walking up for gatorade and some medicine

The same thing happen to my husband when I was in the hospital after having our third child. When it was time for me and the baby to go home everyone was sick! I was scared to bring the baby home because he was so new and small and I couldn't stand the idea of him already getting sick. My mom was in town to help with the kids, but ended up too sick to get up for most of her visit. I ended up with a terrible fever and the chills, but the baby never picked it up.

Oh lord, do I remember those days. Ours always got sick on VACATION!!! I don't think that we were ever at a theme park, camping trip, Smithsonian or any other vacation that we weren't dragging one along with a fever and whining! I remember more than once calling back home to our physician to get a prescription, only to find that the physician did not have prescriptive authority in the state we were visiting! She was always great about figuring out who she knew that did and would get meds phoned in to the neartest WalMart or pharmacy!

Funny how things like that happens.I don't think there is a reason, it just happens that way. Maybe its the man upstairs testing you. Don't feel bad l woke up this morning with the most offal smell of barf. Turns out my dog had a huge barf and it was all over me. PUUU I'm gaging as I'm typing this.
Anyway l hope the little guy gets to feeling better, give him plenty of fluids.
