I'm not certain about "religion" but I know a personal relationship with Jesus has everything to offer...hope, joy, love, peace that passes all understanding, faith, every good thing, eternity and more.

Places where you can run to from your problems if you dont know how to deal. that how some people I know doing with their religions. I dont think religions can help you out with the problem they got but if it makes them feel better, I guess it good.

I think religions offer peace to 'real' members. Belief to others. A comfort to others again.
This is just what I guess as I don't believe in religion myself, but I have respect for those that do.

I think religion makes you deep down feel like a better person, which enables you to truly become a better person to others. I think that at your darkest hour the only thing that can give you solace is the power of prayer...just putting it in someone elses hands is so empowering and an instant comfort when you feel like you just cannot take anymore. Hand it over to god, and feel the instant lift off of your shoulders. so i guess i feel religion offers love.

I think some people need something to believe in, something that gives them rules to follow, and makes them feel like they are on thie earth for more then just being here. Religion offers this type of people peace of mind, a path to follow, and a way for them to feel useful.
I myself don't need religion to be happy nor tell me what is right or wrong but I think some people do because with out it they would get lost in the what should I do and what ifs.
