not a song with words, but really would be lovely background music... I mean, for background you do not necessarily need words right? this music is filled with emotion - soaring, and thoughtful, and a little sad... it is from the Baroque era and is very tender. Pachelbel's Canon in D major.

My favorite on is The Allman Brothers- No One To Run With Anymore. My favorite lyric -No one left to do the crazy things we use to do- No one left to run with any more. Great rythm to it.

I suggest "Graduation by Vitamin C" it's a very good song. It is stated in the lyrics about the good and bad times high school group of friends encounter.. And "Awit ng Barkada" by APO Hiking Society... very touching song..

I like Green Day's "I hope you've had the time of your life" or Time of your life.. or something like that.

you might not like these and these would probably too cheesy for you and probably won't be available there coz its kindof a local song... ^__^;; the most used farewell song/graduation song here is "farewell" which was revived by carol banawa, a local artist here. it goes "farewell to you my friends, we'll see each others again, don't cry coz its not the end of everything..." and then there's "journey" by lea salonga which goes "half the world's sleeping, half thw world's awake, and half can hear their heartbeat, and half can hear them break..." its probably too cheesy and mushy for you but I just wanted to share it...ü

I can suggest the song that we sung when we graduated in high school. The title is "We`ve only just begun" or "If we hold on together" I think You know that or just research that song. Thats my graduation song farewell songs.
