But it is through the Bible that we have the knowledge about Jesus Christ and his work. So it matters very muchy what the Bible says.

Yes, the Holy Bible is all the Word of God and it is complete and therefore we should study it very well. BUT there are versions of the Holy Bible which tend to be partial to their group, I mean the translators used words that support their belief and so we have to be careful. It's not wrong if we have not only 1 but more versions and compare them. My friend is a translator of the Holy Bible from Greek and you may include her translations in your study. Pls visit her website at http://www.lulu.com/arseniajoaquin I hope this could help all of us.

The Bible IS the Word of God. God chooses what is revealed to us through His Word. He could have made it a billion pages long but you can count on what He has given us is truth. There were many things that Jesus did in his life that were not recorded in the Gospels as well. It says in John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen." I am thankful God chose to reveal what He has to us without adding so much that I couldn't even read it all.

If you read the Old testament you'll find out there were many other books such as Assur, but because Constantine canonized what we have today that's what we were left with, I suggest keep searching and you'll find the truth It's worked for me of coarse you got to be willing to lay down every thing we have been traditionally taught, good question Shalom

God's revelation has taken place in three ways. 1. Creation. The universe, our planet, life... these speak loudly of God's existence and power, but their message can be understood in different ways, as demonstrate so many beliefs and religions. 2. Scriptures, also called The Holy Bible. There are different concepts about the relation between the divine and the human element in the Scriptures, but let's say that the Holy Spirit inspired the thoughts of the human writers, while they expressed these divine revelation according to their knowledge and culture. This Word is present in the Old Testament - as it appears in the Hebrew Bible according to the Canon of Ezra (about 450 B.C.) - and in the New Testament, as it appears today, according to the Canon of Hippo (393 C.E.). In these first three centuries, the Church Fathers and the churches themselves, have been were attentive to what texts to approve and which not. Many gospels, many epistles, were rejected as not inspired by the Holy Spirit. In order to get approved, a text had to fulfill four conditions: A. Its author had to be an apostle, or apostle's disciple. B. It had to be in accordance with the general teaching of the other New Testament texts, meaning there had to be an agreement of the doctrine C. It was used by the great community of local churches, all over the Empire. D. It had demostrated to be God's Word through the influence it exercised in the life of the community and the believer. Only the texts you actually find in the New Testament, could stand this test. When archaeology finds any new material, it has to undergo the same scrutiny. Up to now, none of the manyfold gospels, etc. can pass the test. So God's Word continues to be found exclusively in the Holy Bible as it was acknowledged by the reformers. 3. Still, there exists a greater revelation yet. The very true Word of God has been born in human flesh and has lived among us (John 1:1,14 and Hebrew 1:1,2). Jesus Christ is the greatest revelation, is God himself who came to show poor humanity his love and mercy. Thanks for your very interesting discussion!

You mean all the things GOD'S thought to us, actually, that is not it's all about!!! Can you see the SPACE sorround us, this is all just a sample right! We'll you've got to watch over the WORLD around you, can you describe this all in one WORDS, nah! IF GOD really wants all men to be burden maybe all of us will write HIS HOLY WORDS but the point is if ever GOD wants the HOLY BIBLE to be a huge as we want to understand more HIS BEING then the possibilities will be, we will surely not finish this in the rest of all lifes multiply by all of us humans. So, what GOD does is simply make all of this a very simple and understanadable in the simple sense that we have in our being as a man in FOUR LETTER WORDS and that is "LOVE" Gotcha!!!
