Is there somthing that is your fear but also your fasination?

I am fasinated by Tornados although I fear them at the same time. I watch them on TV all the time but could never imagine being in a big one. Two weeks ago we had a small one not even close to an F1 and it was scary it was loud picked up backyard funiture and threw it into the next door yard, Lifted trees up by the roots, broke trees, ect.... I don't know how people chase them, or why people pick tornado ally to live in. So what is everyones fear but also your fasination?
