I just only want to ask about the first payment or the enrollment fee for elementary student.
My son is in a preshool now here in china and next year he should be start to get into the first year in elementary.
My husband fmaily informed us that it will cost 3 thousand dollar plus for the enrollment fee for my 6 year old son which means its almost 77 thousand yuen... Do u thinks its true?

Thanks for the response but I want to know is "How really true is the education fee in china is too high?" Coz my husband told me that hes parents will pay for that enrollment fee for my sons education, which is makes me questioned. Why is that everytime askin about financial my husbands parent do everything even for us his owm family ( as husband n wife n kid) Just feelin sick n tired to understand them... Sorry I hope i didnt hurt someones feelings...

which city does your son live and study in China?3 thousand dollars is your family using or only your son using?!from your saying,your son's enrollment fee has about 50 thousand dollars!if you live in Beijing,ShangHai,GuangZhou and so on,the fee is perhaps,but if you live other cities,the fee is very high!

The fee is too high.It is probably not true.How can a elementary school student cost so much money?I know the tuition of a university student is around 5000 yuan.Will your son go to a noble school? But the noble schoole doesn't need that much.

thanks for that info, my husband told me that. Is china has 3 types of school? Private school, semiprivate school and goverment school? I think private school is much higher tuition fee but not that much i guess. Dont you think so?

yeah. I come from shanghai,china. as i know, the number of the private elementary is little. and i think it may be not convenient for ur child to attend. And I think it's not necessary to attend a private elementary. btw, i think the enrollment fee for these school is as high as u mentioned. in a bilingual kindergarten near my community, the cost is about 2-3 thousand RMB a month. so if u think the enrollment fee is high, i suggest u can send ur child to public elementary school. it costs about 1000 yuan. huh.
