How fast can you type the alphabet?

This will be good for the kids. And I will not say if 16.875 is good or bad, but try it again to see if it makes a difference. I will be practicing from time to time as I have it bookmarked also. I have a game that is great fun for most ages and very addictive. The best part is as long as your browsers is still open, you do not have to be on line. I play it while I am on the phone. I love that I don't have to be on-line as I have dial-up. I am glad they like it. I am so into it I have had it open for 3 days!!LOL

Thanks for not laughing LOL I visit wahm.com (been a member for a few years now) and a while ago everyone was looking for ways to improve their typing skills (a lot of people were trying to get into transcription jobs, etc). Now I said no laughing and I guess I will share why; My first score was 12.109, so how could I laugh at you!? I have a program to teach you to type, but it is boring to do. This site was fun, and I need to practice there more so I can make more money on here!!

I am the same. I took typing but never got to practice after getting out of school and I got slow. I have picked up speed here on mylot though!

That is better than I did! I know I am not fast. I have to look for some of the keys! Was that first try or more?

you would have real troubles with my keyboard... most of my keys have the letters worn right off of them! I do not want to go out and buy a new keyboard as this one works just fine and is wireless and I really like its features etc. but it is making it difficult to teach the youngins keyboarding.

Maybe a thin permanent marker to re-write them?

If you had to look at the screen to do it, i would have got about 2 minutes!LOL

Tammyr i hate you!!!!!!! OK a little over the top, but do you have any idea how long it took me to get under 5 seconds? AN ENTIRE DAY THATS HOW LONG!!!!!!! if you ever put suich a webpage on here again i will hunt you down and block your computer from accessing all websites except mylot! right now all i have to do is find two more words with i in them and i can go to bed (ahh crap that was 3!) now i'm gonna be up all night 4.977 seconds by the way (the top of the leaderboard is 1.001 seconds, but that must be impossible to do)

Well hubby should be fair and give you more time on-line. I hope you try it. I hate timers, but I was interested how I would do. I get lost at the end with v-w-x-y-z. If I used them more or practiced more I could get it down! I know I could!

I am planing to practice on it from time to time. I know being on mylot has improved my speed but I still have to look at the keys.

I leave my monitor on mute so I did not even know it has sound! You did very well, and i find it hard to believe that a person could do it that fast! Can you imagine, they could type up the conversations of three people and not skip a word!!

I just played again and got 7.6 something - but I still would have ranked in the 6000's if it was submitted. I checked the lowest rankings and numerous people scored at 1.001 seconds. HOW?!?! did they use a cheat program or what? 26 letters in a second? unbelievable.
