When you are ill,who will take good care of you?

when i was a child,my mother always around me when i was ill.no matter how busy she was,she would stop working and staied with me and gave me a good care.
i still remembered the time when i was in and she stay around me,she slipped me very soft,said some workd very soft,too.she told me good stories,she did everything can help me.
now i don't live with her,and it is hard to find one who can take so good care to me,
even my boyfriend could not always stay with me when i am ill.
everyone has to be busy with their work now.and so when you are ill,who will stay with you and give you a good care??

same here..my mom would be the one to take care of me when I'm sick. She doesn't sleep when I'm sick, she's just right by my side keeping me company. I'm really thankful for having a mom like her. Though I've done a lot of mistakes...she's still there for me.

When i am sick i end up taking care of myself and longing for my Mommy LOL if it gets too bad then i am made to go the dotor or hospital I have taken myself there too and my mother in law has taken me but usually it is up to me to take care of myself. I have 3 small children that i have to contniue to care for too when i am ill.

when i worked for 2 years away from home, i end up taking care of myself most of the time, too. but i am glad i had friends who were there for me as well. so, i wasn't really alone eventhough i was away from my parents. but i admit, it was too hard to not have someone really close to you to be there when you're feeling ill. i find you really strong tina... take care... anne

my mother also take care of me, she said that she is very bothered when her child is sick. She stayed with me all day. My father also is around to look for me incase my mother is not around. I remember the last time i had a high fever even my younger brother is around me, i think he was just 4 years old then, and he keep on saying, "don't die", because i look like dying. I was the most touching day of my life. He liked to sleep with me but Mama didn't allowed him.

I think our mother is the best person who will take care of us when we fall sick.She is the best nurse available for each one of us.We all will remember how much she was worried when we fell sick during our childhood and how much she took care of us all...

Actually, I am sick right now, that's why I am absent from work now. Since my husband is out-of-town, my eldest daughter (luckily, she is a nurse) is the one who is taking good care of me. Early this morning, she monitored my BP, then gave me some medicines, then accompanied me to the doctor for antibiotics. I count myself lucky for having a fine daughter in her...she takes care of all of us when we are sick...after all, that's her profession and I'm glad she is so caring for us.

Well when i am ill my mom takes care of me and my dad.she is always there with me never leave me alone..i think no one can take good care of me other than mom and dad ..

whenever i am sick, my parents are always there for me. they give me a massage and make me take my pills. they fix my food and they don't let me do anything but to rest. when i feel really bad, they are the ones who take me to my doctor for a check up. there are times when they aren't around. and so, my brothers take care of me. they do to me what my parents do. and that's why i can say i have a happy family.
but since i will soon go to sweden on june 28 to be with my boyfriend (i am from the philippines), my boyfriend will be the one taking care of me when i am ill already. but i hope i won't get ill a lot. i want to be the one taking care of him, too.

When I get sick I usually have to take care of myself, because I have two young children. But There have been times when I was really ill and my mother took care of me, I don't know what I would have done without her.

My mom and dad are the ones who takes good care of me when i'm ill. Until now because i'm still staying with my family. I loved them both and i'm so lucky to have them. Now that i have a boyfriend, he's always around to help and is very concern about my health...

From the time I know, both my parents took care of us while we were ill. My mother with all the burdens of the household on her shoulders, would manage us, we are two sister and one brother in our house. Now also she is the one who takes care when I am ill. Sees to all my need.

hmm i dont regret dat mother has big role in taking care wen we r in ill but ders a great role for god in curing our ill. I love my mother very much.
Did anyone here regreted mothers advice??

I"m afraid that if I don't take care of myself even when I"m ill, nobody does.
Like you I remember my mom being always there when I was sick, I even remember having other members of the family coming over and being with me. Heck I remember friends being there and helping out specially a time that I was sick while my parents were on vacation.
But here, although I have a family of my own now, my experience has been that I have to be there for every one else that is sick, but nobody will do much for me when I"m the one ill.
MY husband has even asked me before when would dinner be ready on a day that I was in bed, with fever and could hardly stand up.
Everyone seems so used to me always being there doing everything that when I'm not they have trouble understanding the idea.

When I am ill my mother takes care of me.All the time she stays with me.And if I am in pain or something she really gets upset and this really effects her so whenever even if I am in pain I don't show it to her so that she does not get upset.

Mothers are the best~! My Mom would take care of any one us whenever my siblings and I ever got sick.. And the thing is, my Mom never seems to get sick at all.. She'll do everything to make us feel better.. But now, just like you, I'm staying with my boyfriend. He can be a real darling when I'm sick too. He will do everything for me. But even how wonderful he is, I still tend to look for my Mom when I'm sick! So Ill call her up and just talking to her is comforting enough.. =D

yeah, i really admire you. you have a pretty mother worth loving.the best love in the world may be love from mother, never selfish, never wanting you to pay back.but on the countrary, you need to live alone,life belongs to yourself.someday in the future, maybe you would have nobody around you,at that time,the whole world is yours,under your control,might you expect someone to take care of you then?
now i am a college student,i have to look after myself,illness would come around sometimes,i can't refuse them, but,how to say, life is mine,i don't want anyone to worry about me.girlfriend is also another person.
