What is the importance of attutide in one's proffesional life

I was just thinking as what is the importance of attitude in one's proffesional life. If a preson has very good technical skills (or the skills required to do his job) and has a very poor attitude, will he be able to shine in the office environment. I think attitude also plays a very important part in today's organizations where team work and interaction with people play a major role.
