Are you using any kind of renewable sources in your day to day life?????????

I have a small solar power set up that I use to power things in my shed, just lights, a radio/cd and occasionaly a jigsaw (through an inverter). I also have a small solar panel system in my other house in Crete, for a year we had no elctricity apart from this system, it is suprising how little you actually need to get by on a day to day basis when you have to. I used to run my old car (a diesel) on biofuel, which was essentially vegetable oil with approximately 3% white spirit mixed in, the only exhaust is water. It got me all over the country using that, the only problem is it smells like frying food wherever you drive so I was constantly hungry LOL.
