I give bottled water for my kid to drink. Tap water in the country where i live is good thou. I fear, what if the inside lining of the tap and its pipes (plumbing connections) are unclean? Have anyone got such a wierd fear? +ve or -ve i truly appreciate your input.

Hi dentidle, i have the same concerns. Pipes rust, and the daily wear and tear, the pipes that goes unchanged for decades, one can only wonder what you can find if those pipes get cleaned. The things that can come to my mind include, silth, sand, scum, ..yuck.
I installed a water treatment system in my kitchen. The unit is mobile so that even when we move, we can still use it. It also has ultraviolet chamber to kill bacteria and a filtration system that can even remove coloring and chlorine in water. So we have treated water everyday. - Lyn

Thank you for the best response. This is a very good topic and i went throught it. I hope i did help you ease your worries.
It is stated as water treatment system and it is from access business group (my friend's home based business). They have the latest water treatment system as in the picture above. I thought of getting the new one but i am not so sure about the cost.
The first time i heard the price, it shocked me.
The older version which i bought cost me less than $1700 (retail price) singapore dollars. Because i got a discount ($300). So i ended up paying $1400.
Before buying though, i did my own calculation and as compared to bottled water (80 cents/bottle) mine is cheaper because it costs me 35 cents a day. On top of being reasonably cheap, i also know what i'm driking.
Good luck!

I buy individual bottled waters. After we drink the water, we refill them from our fridge. We have a water filter on our fridge so I don't worry about anything. We are so use to the filtered water, that water from the faucet tastes funny to us.

I dont have kids yet.But I have many of them at home. They all are given boiled water to drink which is either taken from the tap or from the well.I think the tap water is okay to drink but you need to really boil it before use especially when you give it to kids whose immunity is very low.

The tap water here is good, but the house we are in is very old and the pipes are deteriorating so our water tastes and smells like dust. We filter it and also buy bottled water.

I give my daughter bottled water. It has less sediments (light) and other heavy minerals that are not needed by the body. My daughter has allergies or is very sensitive even to water. So when we introduce her to bottled water like Wilkins... she enjoys drinking water and milk everyday without irritation or allergy. Hope this helps
