Hi sexycoley,
I used to be infatuated with the idea of adopting the Lotus position and floating around the hose three feet above the floor. That would have been fun, but since it doesn't usually work that way, my interest in Yoga has faded.
If anyone can demonstrate shattering a brick with the vibrating palm technique, then my curiosity might once again be aroused. Beyond that, Yoga sounds like an awful lot of effort for precious little reward (a bit like physiotherapy, actually... who thinks up these things?).

There is an incredible amount of reward from yoga.
Calmness of mind, flexibilty and if you play any kind of sport you are 80% less likely to be injured, improved balance, a greater awareness of your body, tones and strengthens the whole body etc

Hi,
It's nice to be acquainted with the benefits of a particular discipline like Yoga, but I suspect it's one of those practices that need the investment of discretionary time which people generally don't have - and increasingly so with each passing year. Like the alleged chicken and egg paradox - if there's no benefit evident, then a person's unlikely to take the trouble to learn to apply it.
P.S. The egg came first...

It does take a while to be able to feel the stretchs properly but you only need to spend about 15-30 minutes a day doing it to keep the flexibility.
What I like most is it you feel completely relaxed but with a mental alertness, its hard to describe if you've never felt anything like it.

Whilst yoga may have health benefits it also poses some risks and can lead to back and groin problems
all the best urban

Only if you have a bad teacher or if you over stretch, which is your own stupidity.
