Should a violin player must perform in a theatre or is it possible for the player to perform in any places?
Well, yesterday,my friend and I went to the supermarket nearby my university. But when we encounter into,we found that a violin player was performing in the supermarket! The player just looked like a student and it seemd that she paid all concentration on her violin so that nothing could bother her.But to my suprised, her performance was a chain of a sales promotion for a instant noodle brand.
I couldn't find a word to describe my feeling at that moment but honestly,I thought that playing violin in a supermarket wasn't proper.I didn't think that there is some connection between the violin and the instant noodle, but obviously, the noodle brand wanted to attract more customers. However, the performance in a supermarket was too funny.
So what do you think about the violin performance in a supermarket? If you were a representative of the instant noodle brand, would you support the "elegant" performance in front of the grocery?Do you think it is a useful approach for sales promotion?
Best wishes for everyone to have a great day:)

That is a strange way to sell instant noodles, I've heard of performances in super markets before they are usually for the artists to earn money. I once saw a performance of the ballet swan lake on stilts in the supermarket when I was a child. I think it's good to take performance art out onto the street so everyone can enjoy it.

That's a really strange way to sell instant noodles, but this obviously, this performance attract many customes.I'm still doubt that whether a violin performance for a sale prmomion is effective, but honestly,it is a good way to share art with everyone.

It is quite common for us to see artists performing their skills with various musical instruments like flutes, violins, guitars in the busy streets or public buildings where we find lots of people passing by in western countries. We do see painters performing their works as well. They are not beggars asking for alms but they are selling their skills to those who appreciate their talents, so they should be respected as normal workers who earn their living by their own labor. They shouldn’t be looked down upon, anyway.
In your case the performance of the violinist employed in a supermarket obviously was to arouse the attention of the customers. Anyhow I consider this is a good opportunity for people to watch such elegant performance in the public so as to make it more popular. As I know many selfdom have any chance to watch such performance in the theater as the entrance fee is rather expensive.
Happy new year.
