do you think praying or wishing for something helps?

im always praying about something., not begging, but i do pray, and hope and wish for things, i just don't know how much it really helps! has anyone gotton their wishes come true...i mean really?

I never pray with hopes that God would grant my wishes. Instead, I pray for wisdom and guidance so I may achieve the things that I want to achieve.

Yeah it really works petgets.If we pray unceasingly, it really come but not right away.

I am not sure praying and wishing works as I look at that as asking, but I do believe in that positive thinking attracts positive results, postive as it will happen so you are directing yourself to that point.

yes i think negative thought poison our bodies, and makes it hard to let the good come through.

The Bible says that prayer works, so I have to believe thats true. I have had many situations where amazing things have happened to me, and I can only attribute them to me, and others praying.

Honestly- I wish and wish to win the lottery- I haven't won yet- I do wish for other things and pray also- I'm not sure if it works or not- Things happen for a reason- Think about the Make a Wish foundation- Kids wish- and then some lucky ones get those wishes granted- so wishing could help-

it does help.prayers move mountains.they have a lot of power. provided it should be done from heart straight away and not involve any selfish interests. do that sincerely and then see what happens

well what isn't selfish to you? the things we want or need are always thought of as selfish? so how do you determine that one?

I think it all depends on what you want wheater it is something you need or something you want. i admit I pray for things that I want also some things that I have prayed for have happened and some haven't but I haven't given up either.

Nope. I prayed some many times and I've wished, I don't think it works but this could just be for me but It's a waste of time in my opinion. Kudos, ~Joey
