has anyone of you been in Riga?

I think a lot of people in the world even don't know that city even a lot of people don't know Latvia - that's a country I come from.........

where is Latvia and Riga?is Riga the capital of Latvia?Is Latvia somewhere in Russia.

...actually it makes me really crazy when somebody is asking is Riga in Russia - of course no ! Riga is a capital of Latvia, we are in EU..... it makes me offended if you say that Latvia is in Russia.... How would you like if i say that your city is in the Tajicistan or Lithuania or Rumania?????

Yes, Riga is a nice city - I'm also from Riga :) Every year more and more tourists visit Riga - It is a nice feeling that so many tourists are insterested in visiting this beautiful city.

No, I have not bee to Riga yet. I have not been to Reval not either. But I want to go there one day. I want to go to Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Belarus. Right now I can not be on vacation as I have to work but I hope to make it one of them days. This will be a great trip. Friends of mine have been to Riga.
