i am thinking if what drives you to choose the dress you buy or wear..is it for style or comfort? sometimes, we cannot disregard the fact that our clothing statement goes with what is "in" right now even though we are not comfortable or vice versa. what is the most influential: style or comfort?

I always choose clothing first based on style but I wouldn't wear it if I'm not comfortable with it. It's a two-part screening process.., I guess a combination of both is really necessary. What if you're more comfortable naked? Hehe, just a thought.

I try to go for both, but I find that it is important to look your best and if you have to sacrafice comfort to do that then so be it.

that's what i have observed for Asian people that they usually wear clothes that are in fashion even if not comfortable enough for them. upon my personal opinion that we are right now in US and people are not so particular for dress outlook or fashion thing as long as comfortable enough on every moves so i prefer to buy my clothes fit enough for me that is suited for the season and that i can be promt and proper enough with my outfit at office and it's very comfortable with the lifestyle we have. if we gonna walk or take the train or drive the car or do other second jobs or some other business and etc...

i think people nowadays give more premium to style than comfort but personally, i think that style should not be the ultimate consideration. it is important to consider comfort as well. i've seen people dressed stylishly but obviously, not comfortable with what they are wearing. for example, i see girls who wear mini skirts but instead of wearing them confidently, they keep pulling on the hem of their skirts. very funny.
i also think that aside from style and comfort, confidence should also be considered. well, if i could dress for both style and comfort (with confidence), why not?

I usually go for something comfortable, but most of the time I buy clothes that are both comfortable and with style. You can't just be comfortable while looking stupid. There are always clothes out there which are comfortable and in style at the same time.
