When people are about 20 years old, some may have wisdom teeth. They are the last teeth to grow for human beings. Usually it will be painful when they grow. I have four wisdom teeth, but three of them were pulled out some years ago. Now one wisdom tooth remains. Hopefully it needn't to be pulled out. It's not a pleasant experience.

I'm almost 29 but I've only got one wisdom tooth. It started growing only a few months ago. I hope none of the others come out later on. No space left!!!

I hope so, too, youless!!!
Plus dental service here is VERY expensive, so I hope I won't have to bother going there 'coz of my wisdom tooth/teeth.

My only wisdom tooth was to emerge during my late twenties. Of course I suffered from painful gum for quite some time before it got to grow fully. The dentist advised me to keep it as half of it still could be used for chewing. I considered it as a bonus for me so that I could have an extra molar on my left upper jaw. I believe a natural molar is very much better than an artificial tooth. By name the wisdom tooth signifies wisdom, so you must be very wise as you have four of them. Whereas I have only one, so I ... lol...

I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled when I was 25 years old. They did two at a time. The last two had to be cut out. No, having teeth pulled are not a very pleasant experience.

My wisdom teeth started coming in when I was 18, and I had them pulled that summer before they got a chance to come all the way in. They told me it would be easier to just have them taken out before they had a chance to grow in all the way. It definitely was not a pleasant experience! The first few days was really awful and I had to get some extra medication cause my body was going nuts. lol Anyway, I'm glad it's all over with now! hehe

I'm 24 and have three wisdom teeth which have not been removed. They should be as they're cramping my mouth and causing my other teeth to grow a bit crooked, but my teeth have always been a bit crooked so there isn't much difference. Plus my dentist referred me to an orthodontist who tried to convince me I needed very expensive invisable braces even though they knew I had no such money, so I'm angry with them both and am considering getting a second opinion somewhere else. My wisdom teeth don't hurt me, I don't suffer from any discomfort and my teeth have never been perfect. I'm used to it by now.

wisdom teeth?i guess i have never had wisdom teeth before.coz i never felt painful when growing teeth.
but if the wisdom teeth are the last, then i think their will be one,i don't think we can grow several teeth at a time and happens to be the last.

Yes,i do.But it said that the wisdom teeth can easily result in pain in your teeth. But till now,i haven't found people suround me whose teeth hurt badly.Actually, the wisdom teeth seems to be useful. It doesn't matter whether or not you have them.

Yup, I still have mine. 3 of them have actually come through fine. One is impacted. There is no way I am having the surgery just to remove one. It hasn't given me any trouble yet. Hopefully it stays that way.I had a 12 year molar pulled and that was bad enough.

I cant say that i know what you are talking about where toothache is concerned. Mine have been growing from i was 12 and they are still growing at 38. It is not painful, thank God, but the gum is sometimes red and a little sore. Nothing to complain abt. Sorry for the pain you are going through and I wish I could help. Maybe Excedrin woould help?
