many white people can't tell the difference between a Chinese person, Japanese person, and Korean person. White people automatically assume that all yellow skin people are Chinese. You can clearly tell the difference just by looking at the eyes. Koreans eyes are wide, Japanese eyes are more oval looking. so what 's your opinoin?

I am a white person and I can tell you point blank blind folded... well maybe I'd need to use my eyes... but seriously I am whiter than a dove on the insides of my thighs and although race doesn't matter to me because I believe we will all eventually speak one language and our color of skin will eventually be optimal advantaged up... but dude I could tell a Japanese from a Korean from a Chinese person 100 times out of 100 guaranteed. Yellow smellow. I'll tell you the secret to distinguishing between the three. The first secret to telling the difference is the clothes each of the three cultures wear. I can easily identify Chinese.... I mean real chinese folk due to the quality and usual appearance of their outer wear. I mean its obvious when they are Chinese the clothes speaks 1000 pictures worth of words. Look at the clothes to tell between a Chinese person. Chinese people will wear normal clothing. I mean the most normal everyday clothing, and there will be nothig fancy about it. Next if you can't tell the difference by clothing then you look at the eyes. Secret no 2. The shape of the eyes will tell a thousand pictures worth of words. Japanese are most almond, chinese are whiter, Korean folk are more square. Secret no 3 The rudeness of their actions. By and large Koreans are the most rude of them all. They will cut in line, they are fierce competitors. Japanese will help you get in line. Chinese will go with the flow. I can tell a Korean person a mile a way, a Japanese person within a foot and, and a chinese person within whispering distance.

I understand clearly what you are saying, however please do not tarn westerners with the same brush.
It is all down to education, if a person doesn't know or hasn't learnt or has no experience, how can they tell.
Put a welsh man next to an englishman, if they say nothing you won't know the difference. But wo be tide you claim there is no difference LOL
I saw something on sky last night, it was a history programme. It mentioned that in the 17th century a group of english folk hung a monkey because they thought it was a french man.
This was because the people had no idea how a frenchman looked, these were common folk with no education in a very tough to live country.
So please forgive the ones who are lacking knowledge and accept them as you would expect to be accepted.

I think the people don't care about the Asian culture enough to tell the difference between them, I think the way more easy the know where they from is just looking in their id or passport, na I am kidding, I live in south America and I find hard to know where they come just for a simple looking but there is many cultural factor that you would look and easy figure out where they come from, I can say that they can't tell the difference between all the no Asian people, once I met a Chinese girl and when I showed me on the web cam , she said I thought only the people Asian have black hair, so they don't tell the difference too.

It is funny to admit that Japanese and Chinese are deeply offended when a foreigner mixes up two. I dont mind at all but be careful with others......

It is funny to admit that Japanese and Chinese are deeply offended when a foreigner mixes up two. People very often think I am a Chinese. When I went back to Japan, one person once spoke to me in English. Hey....I am still a Japanese dont mix up with my neigbours.

Why do Asian people lump all Westerners together? Admittedly there has been some crossbreeding but why can't they tell the difference between the Irish and the Italian? Or whether the American they are talking to is from Texas or New Jersey or California?
Please take the above in the spirit it was given--- satire.
I can usually tell different Asiatics apart, even noticing some you didn't mention like Vietnamese who also have a slightly different facial structure.
But you lump Westerners all in one bucket and then expect them to not dump you into one! Sounds like a bit of a double standard.
