Should GUYS carry an umbrealla?

I do..., we live in a tropical country and it's really hard getting caught in a rain without one. I posted the question because once a girl friend of mine, whom I really liked, found it amusing that I carry an umbrella. Yeah I was a bit embarrassed. Cheers!

I don't see what would be so strange about a guy carrying an umbrella! I've seen lots of guys carry umbrellas before and it just seems normal to me. I think it would be much sillier to let yourself get all soaked out in the rain just cause you're a guy! lol I wonder why she was so amused by that...?

For me, I don't see anything wrong with it. Just like your girlfriend, I feel amazed when I saw a man who's confident enough to carry umbrella. I really admire them.
My boyfriend would not bring it unless the rain fall is heavy. He feel shame for it.

i think they should...im a girl and i dont carry umbrella but i am very impressed when i see a guy carrying one.

Why not?. There's nothing wrong with it if a guy is carrying one?. My pup even got one on his backpack. He brings it everyday coz it might rain in the afternoon when he goes out from work. At least he can still come home not wet. ;) Its not an issue anymore of sexuality if a man is carrying an umbrella. ;) It's cute!

i find it cool for guys to bring an umbrella especially during the rainy season. others don't find it sexy for a guy to carry an umbrella but heck! a guy, no matter how handsome he is, won't be that attractive if he's soaking wet (especially if he's in his corporate attire--lol!)...

Well, if your umbrella is the folding type and pink in color, you probably shouldn't carry one. LOL.
But I don't mind guys carrying an umbrella. In other countries, it's even a fashion statement for men...the black long ones, I mean.

Umbrella is for everybody known to be used for protection from sunlight and rain. Anybody can use it whether male or female. Its just the majority associated it with female. Thus, the culture carries it for centuries. BUT THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH MALE CARRYING UMBRELLA.

I think there is nothing wrong with carrying an umbrella (men or women). It's better safe than sorry and weather is really hard to predict. I think it's better to carry one instead of being soak up by all the rain water and get sick the very next day. I guess she found is amusing because she caught you carrying one when it wasn't raining, right? I am sure she would have a different thought if it was raining heavily and you guys were stuck somewhere. As long as the umbrella doesn't look funny, I think it's fine for men to carry one.

i never know some guy that they dont want to carry umbrella.my boyfriend carry umbreall for me.And when its rain he has own umbrella too.Whats the problem when they carry umbrella? does it mean that they are gay?

I don't bring umbrella. It is unusual for me, i am too lazy to carry one. I only bring once my mom is already angry to me, because i always run under the rain. One good thing of not bringing an umbrella is i got a chance to share with my crush's umbrella, although he is a guy he always bring one..hehehe.
