Have you ever met an accident in your life time???

November 8, 2000 we had just had a birthday party for my then two year old son a feww days earlier. The LP Gas tank that we had used to cook the food was placed behind the house by my brother. My sister-in-law decided that she didn't want the LP Gas container behind her house so then she moved it the side of her window. I was cooking breakfast in the outdoor kitchen while my son played with the rocks on the ground. My sister-in-law just came from the shower and asked my son to step aside while she closed the door...and just like that my son was lying on the ground! I was in shock! The LP Gas container was on top of him and he was bleeding on the left side of his head! I yanked him up, & he was crying but with no voice! I then ran to the swimming pool and shoved him in the cold water, at that point I could hear the screaming. I called 911 and we went to the hospital. He did not seem to have any difficulties other than the bleeding, but as we got seconds away from the ER, he stoped breathing! I was crying the whole time, praying every second and hoping that he will get through it! He was placed in ICU for two weeks, the LP Gas container landed on his left lung, which caused his lung to collapse.....The doctors told me that I had to expert the worst....They said that he wouldn't walk or talk, that my son would never be the same again. Against all odds, after a month my son was back to walking and talking again but he also suffers from epilepsy, mood disorder & a learning disorder....We had an MRI done last month and the findings were Arnold Chiari Malformation in his brain. Nothing I can say right now can express the feeling I had at that time, when my son was in the ICU I kept telling myself that if he didn't make it...I didn't want to live another day without him. My son is now 9 and although he suffers from many disorders, I am greatful for everyday that I continue to have him in my life!

I have been in an accident. A couple through out my life time. Only one when I was driving. That was last summer and not my fault. I was rear ended by someone not paying any attention in a parking lot. It was a bad enough wreck that landed me in the hospital and bed ridden for awhile.

I have been in a few car accidents. The last one I was in was because a car ran out in front of me. I put on my brakes to stop and I couldn't help but hit her. Of course she told the cop a story about me being all over the road. I was just on on part of the road she pulled out in front of me. Luckily. I had passengers with me that told the cop what happened so he believed my side.

I have been in three roll overs in my life , I was not driving in any of them. They all happened on gravel roads and I have NOW GOT A BIG FEAR OF GRAVEL ROADS. Thank God no one was ever hurt.

i avn't had an accident b4 bt i know som1 who as. its a very period, u konw.i felt like i was the one hurt.its ril painful.

i thank god that he has been protecting me always, so never had experienced any car accidents in the 26 years of my life.. have an angel beside me i guess :)
