I was out in the middle of nowhere and I pulled off the road and crossed over a rusty chain to walk up the long unused 2 track looking for this fishing pond. By the looks of the road and the chain...neither have been used in a long time.
200 yards up the trail I stop for a second and pick a wild strawberry. Down by my foot I see a socket pressed intoo the ground. I free it from the dirt and its a gleaming 10MM craftsman socket. Must have been there along tome... but barely any rust on it. Isnt weird on how, and where we can find things that just have no business being there?
What do you think? Anyone find anything interesting in the middle of nowhere?

Cool topic! We were camping at Lum's Pond State Park one rainy May, and we had to rake some of the wet ash out of the firepit so we could try and get a cooking fire going. Buried in the ash was one of those pocket multi-tools, a really good brand name one that looked new once we wiped the scortching off of it. We use it all the time!
