what to expect during college life?

college life is wonderfull!you will love it !

I go to a small school so I'm not sure if my experiences are what traditional 'college life' is like, but... First, it can sometimes be easier to make friends, especially among other freshmen, because everyone is knew, want lots of friends, and are usually a bit more mature than in high school. Also, I've found that many of my teachers are more laid back and informal and communicate with their students as equals since the students are older. Of course, I go to an art school. Lecture classes are basically like high school, you walk in, listen to the teacher talk for a while, and then leave. Teachers who have lecture classes don't usually get to know their students, they just teach the material and expect you to learn it. As for campus life, you'll probably have a bit more time to hang out, and in the dorms a lot of people will be drinking and finding places to go party. I know it's a stereotype, but there is ALWAYS drinking in college. I don't drink so maybe I'm missing out on an active social life, but I know who my friends are and we have fun together without partying. Just make sure you don't party too much and fall behind in your work, because college teachers won't help you and make sure you have it done. You're expected to be responsible.

first thing you expect in college is ragging. trust me, it helps later more than it hurts now. it will get you acquainted with the environment and make you learn to live.. After ragging is over, college is just meant for fun, but beware, studies shouldnt be neglected. i being a student, can emphasize that college life so far has been the best phase of my life.

i think njoy the college life at the fullest because once it is gone , it will never come back.. make as many friends as possible
