Need help from veteran Bloggers

Okay, I haven't logged in to mylot for one whole week! That's a new record for me. Anyways, I've been busy trying to start my own blog.
I now of all these get paid to blog sites but the thing is, how do I do it? I've heard that you need to have a certain rank or traffic in your site before you could get assignments or something?
Can somebody just give me a run through on how and what needs to be done? How do I increase traffic to my blog? Any tips would be great.

About this topic i've no idea, but as you are my first friend of my mylot friends,i am happy in welcoming you to mylot after a break. for the past few days, i used to see that your topic count has not increased and was worrying,as i wud like to see u the posting the 1981 post.( natalie 1981 has posted 1981 topics)

Thanks, that's so sweet. Yeah, that was a long break. It will probably be longer the next few days since Law School would start again. :)
