Recently from a mylot discussion I came to know about blackle.com, which is otherwise known as black google. It is a search engine as good as google and saves energy. It needs lesser energy to display a black web page than a white. This way it is estimated if google turns black 750 kilowatt hours of energy could be saved. Fascinated by the idea I immiediately changed my home page into blackle.com Visit http://www.blackle.com/ and see for yourself. Click 'about blackle' and you get a fair idea. I think it would be wonderful if we can save that much of energy. Let us participate in the campaign by making blacle our home page.
