Is discussion necessary before entering the examination hall?

I think it is pretty useless to discuss before entering the examination hall. Discussion may sometimes lead to confusion and diversion of concentration. Personally I never meet anyone before exams. I don't even meet my best friends and even if I do I just say "All the best" & nothing more. After exams we meet up and speak a lot but nothing before the exams.
How do you deal with this aspect during your examination?

Actually sometimes it helps a lot in discussing about what we have studies before entering an examination hall. Some times we get wrong points which we get rectified and sometimes it really help sif we have not read and when our friends explain us about it before entering the examination hall, we really grab some extra marks in such a way. So during my school days we used to discuss a lot while on the bus during exams and i really miss those. I agree with you in the point of confusion and diversion. But for a lazy student like me it was really helpful.

Pretty helpful for you...But makes me real confused if I talk anything about the paper. I agree that we may be wrong sometimes and discussing may correct us. But why do those last time studies and understand everything half-heartedly.... If you are fully prepared this situation will not arise. Anyways, thank you for responding.

I don't think so that discussion is neccessary and usefull before entering a exam hall but most of will do the same but i won't do that and i think it just makes you freek if you discuss at the time of entering the hall.
But discussions while preparing for exams is good and correct way of practice for exams.

I agree with you. But discussing while preparing for the exams is also not followed by me because I think it just wastes your time and no studies will be carried on. I had an experience once when I was in my high school and so never thought of combined study thereon. From that day onwards I prepare on my own and if at all I have any confusions I discuss it with my professors.
Anyways, thanks for responding.

This is my view too.
When I was a student, I try to just keep a clear mind before the hall. I tell myself that it is ok, what I know will come out and what I don't know will not come out (lol).
I just pray and leave everything to God.
