I don't even know what laws she has broken. But I know I'm really tired of hearing about her.
She is just an irresponsible spoiled brat. And should should have the natural and logical consequences of her choices of behavior.
Did her offense have something to do with driving drunk? That puts others at risk as well as herself. Time for her to grow up.

Wasn't there also the issue of her license being suspended, and her driving on it (she said her people didn't tell her that it was suspended).

They didn't? So, what? I'm sure the judge told her himself when he imposed the sentence.

You're right, MD. The license was suspended after the original no contest plea. Maybe her people didn't tell her about the suspension originally (it's still a lame excuse), but you woulda thought she'd figure it out after the first time she got pulled over. She gives blondes a bad name. :D

I think that it is great that she is being sent back to jail.
No, she tried to pull a quick one and he saw though the scam--she is lucky he didn't sentence her even more time. He should have fined her an additional ninety days for attempting to run this scam.
Yes, the sheriff should have gotten written orders from the judge to release her--the rest of us would still be sitting in jail until the paperwork got finished; why not her too?
Yes, she broke the law--she should do the time. Being rich and famous doesn't mean that you can break the law and get away with it.

I'm thinking Paris Hilton will figure out a way to turn this jail house tale of woe into some big bucks. She actually is a pretty smart girl putting on an act. True, maybe she did not want to go to jail, but I'm sure she is playing this for all it is worth. She's acting just a little bit, exagerating her remorse at having to serve time. She's a drama queen. I can almost promise that after she gets out of jail she will get more work.
Did the Sheriff overstep his bounds? The judge in the case sure seems to think so.
Should Paris be in jail? Yep. They cut her a break and gave her probation on the original drunk driving charge. She violated the terms of her probation twice. The question is not whether or not she should be in jail but why wasn't she there sooner?

Imagine this. Paris writes a prison journal. Afterwards it is published. How is it most likely to be preceived by the public?
a) Potential screen play for a TV movie.
b) As a novelette or short story.
c) Script for a Saturday Night Live skit.
d) Another "MEIN KEMPT".

She deserves to be in jail for what she did. When she knew she was going to go out and get drunk she should have used her driver, hired a limo or called a taxi. Then she violates her suspended license by driving not once but 2 times, once with her headlights off (What's up with that Paris, hiding are we?)because she was in desperate need of a burger. Sorry Paris, you need to be a woman and do your time like all the other famous celebrities did. Stop the crying, you made the decisions that got you into this mess!
