How do you deal with children fight?

My children fight over simply anything. Even a piece of tissue paper, they can fight for it. They just like to get whatever the other one is playing. They always find that the otherside of the grass are greener. They will stop and feel upset after I lecture them telling them it is not right to fight. They will just stop for a while and the entire story will repeat again. Do your children fight?

I've found that the best thing to face this kind of undesirable behavior is to relax. Children notice when we're not being patient and "want our way". Things get worst because they feel your urge to stop what they are doing and children will also "want their way". So my first advice would be to relax, let them know you don't like people fighting but let them discuss and eventually get to an agreement. Remain silently present so they know you care about the situation but respect their own choices. Children are good when we let them the opportunity to be good by themselves, but sometimes is hard, I know. I second the book suggestion.

Have you read Siblings Without Rivalry by Adele Faber? It has a lot of great advice on what to do when kids are fighting and picking on each other.

Haha, its natural between the kids and quite common if they are brothers and they change as they grow dont worry leave them they themselves will understand both after a while and become friends and begin to console one another forgetting the cause for the fight and the fighting and share their articles in between them calmly.
