Friends for me, and my family of my own. The family I was born into becomes a bit too much at times and kind of drains me because my parents are a bunch of negative hypochondriacs. Thank goodness for friends.:)

Well, it would have to be my two children. When I was still single, I had no focus in life like I was just drifting with really no clear direction as to where I was going. When I had children of my own, I began to realize that life has so much in store for me. I have started becoming future-oriented and I am now making plans for the their future. The bottom line is, I have become responsible for my actions and thoughts..I wish to just give them all the best that I could.

Children change your thinking in that the area of your thoughts stretches to include them. It's not just you and what you're doing and where you're going, it's who you're taking along with you for the ride and how it affects them as well. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, my daughter as her innocence and honesty takes me back to childhood and puts life in a whole new perspective. Also my little brother who has conquered so much with health problems in his short 15 years of life but continues to smile and be loving throughout. They are defiantely my ehros and the main people who influence my life.

Yes, my oldest son really has a neat viewpoint on life and is always willing to share it with me. I know what you mean. Then there are the people who live life so well when life really throws so much at them. They say the most adversity is handed to the strongest souls. I think this is true.
