people get so strung out on the fact that Paris Hilton and others can use their money to get them out of trouble, but isnt that the same as abortion? You are using your money to prohibit taking responsibility for the action that conceived a baby.
This is just my thought, I have had some discussions on this today and I just thought this would be something to share.

I don't see how you can compare the two.....I find it ironic that anti-abortionists aren't offering THEIR money to take care of unwanted children, let alone support a woman for the term of her pregnancy and pay her health costs. Have you put your money to any of these matters? Or do you just want to call others hypocrites. Have you supported even ONE mother who wouldn't have aborted if she could afford the child or knew it would be adopted out? What about women who become pregnant due to rape, family incest....is that the irresponsibility of the one who conceived?

um, I have paid my own medical bills with no help from insurance, does that count? I think it does, I struggled my as$ off for that. But I did,.

Is it the responsibility of the child? Should the child die because of it?

First of all I do not have a higher than thou attitude. Why is it that people can say things on the other side of the coin and it is ok? I havethe right to say whatever I want, as does everyone else, and everyone has the right to do as they please...as you also have the right to disagree or choose not to read or respond to a discussion.

I'm sorry, but that is just completely way off and inaccurate. A proper analogy would be like trying to trade hard time for community service. One is easier, but not easy and is certainly a fair amount of punishment in and of itself. Quite frankly there is no outcome of pregnancy that can equal throwing money at it and making it dissapear altogether. You either have it and deal with the pregnancy, childbirth and possibly parenthood, you get an abortion which requires a pricey medical procedure that will be on you record for the rest of your life and if you don't actually regret it, you will still be stigmatized for the rest of your life.

So a pregnancy/jail time, are punishments that can be bought out of? Sorry but I don't get the logic here, in one post you're upset someone called it a parasite, yet in this one you are calling it a punishment.

I am not familiar with what Paris Hilton doing and I am not sure if she is engaged in abortion or she aborted her baby. But I am a pro life and I am against to abortion. Abortion is an absolutely wrong and it is a crime of murder. And absolutely I am not favor for this. And I think the fetus have life and like us she/he have a right to see this wonderful world.

I think abortion in itself doesn't mean much. It is, in what context its done matters more. You've to consider the intentions of the parents for getting the baby aborted and only then you can decide.
