How many people is it okay to date at one time???

Okay I personally feel like it should be one at a time, but I am kinda old fashion in that respect. Now I understand testing out the waters and maybe seeing a couple of guys a month on dates, but what do you think? Is there a magic number, is there so much of a thing as too many dates in a given time? Sound off and tell me what you think and why???

you can date as many as you want as long as you are not committed to anyone...

right. But what if the other person doesn't feel that way, isn't it important how the person you are casualy dating views it too?
