Scam Emails...

Is anyone else getting those "this guy died and has no relatives alive" emails? He usually has a lot of money in some bank and someone emails you wanting your personal information saying you get a cut of the money? I was told you are supposed to forward those to the FBI..has anybody done that?

Oh yes all the time in all my emails. It is ridiculous! I saw a dateline special about it and I truly do not beleive how some people fall for that scam. My sister fell for one, that asked her to deposit some money orders in her account and send them the money less her percent and it turned out the money orders were fake.

My dumb ex boyfriend fell for it.I thought he was cheating.I had a friend who knew how to break into email.He posted in emails to the other woman.He thought he was so cool and smart bcse I had no idea about her.Then I read other emails where he was telling some guy that he sent him $500.When was he going to get his one million inheritance?
I'm laughing right now just thinking about it.

Perhaps none, they are all around. there are alot of scam email and I don't know why noody can stop it. what might this mean, There are people who are really brave to do what they do. Just be careful.

well, first and foremost, let me thankyou for responding on one of my discussions..as a return, i would like to respond to yours too..
i did had different emails like that and ive done so far as sending them my personal information (so naive of me)..but then when its the turn of me giving them $400 for the transfer of the funds, thats the point of me not giving in...i would love to turn them to FBI's but i dont know tyheir numbers or email address

In my regular e-mail, I report them to yahoo as spam. I got one in my private messages here on myLot, and started a discussion, after reporting the user to myLot, They are everywhere, aren't they?

oh i get them emails alot in my inbox, i just email them back saying one work starting with F ending in F, lol. i thought it was real at 1st becuase it seemed like a sob story, i never replied back or anything tho and i kept geting them over and over again, nw i know they are scams! :)
