Definitely ATM account. It's very accessible, you don't have to go to the bank just to have a withdrawal and bear the hassle of waiting in line for the transaction. Another thing, you could get money anytime and anywhere without waiting anymore for the bank to open.

ATM for me. I used to always loose my pass book or forgetting it at home when I needed to have it with me.
Nowadays, because my work hours are basically the same as the banks it is easier for me just to use the ATM machines than to have to ask to leave work earlier to go to the bank teller.

yes true , we need to carry the pass book everytime we go to bank ...whereas in ATM we can take a printed slip of the last 10 - 20 transactions its so much easier this way

ATM is better for personal account, but for corporate account, pass book is better coz it has to be monitored and check regularly. there are some complicated transactions that the pass book can show.

i prefer to use the ATM because you can withdraw your money anytime and anywhere. there are a lot fo ATM machines available for transactions almost anywhere you go.what you need is the card and the pin number. unlike the passbook, you can only withdraw in a specified bank and for 5 banking days only. i feel that ATM has more advantages than using a passbook.

definetly ATM , cos its open 24/7 & its easy to transact also , no need to carry any cheque book or cheque leaf , only a pin no which u memorize and a card would do it all , its secured also ...so i will go with ATM

I opened a bank account today, along with the two accounts that I already have. The one I opened today is in the USA, and the other two are at home. I access all of my accounts on line, with statements e-mailed to me, so I don't need a bank book. Also, there is an ATM machine for the bank I use here in the USA, right across the street from my residents here. At home I just have to go downtown to get money.

yes indeed ATM's, but this actually happens to one of my friend every time he went outside hanging with friends or with me withdrawing cash instantly for him is just insane and spending for good times. then he switch to passbook just prevent himself spending his savings, too bad for him he can't control himself spending if he got his ATM's with him.
