Shantaram

I really enjoyed Shantaram. I came away from the book with an intimate knowledge of Bombay. It was a book I couldn't put down, and took a remarkably short amount of time to finish considering the size. Though don't you feel like the writer may be sensationalising a little? I do, but I really don't think it matters, even if it where fiction I'd have enjoyed it equally. Though it did make me sad to see at the back of the book, that he'd been sent back to prison. There's something about him that just makes you think he no longer deserves prison. Anyway good book, definitely a must read. I'm currently forcing my boyfriend to read it lol.
