If you love someone, why get divorce? if you don't love someone, why get marry?

My teacher, Mr.Costanze had a sad marriage. he is a strange person. I think his unfortune love force him to behave like that. he is a cold person, he don't smile in class. all the time I think, If I fell in love with someone, I will marry her. and I will love her with all my heart. I don't understanf why adults make love so complicated. I am 18 this year. but still think love is simple. I don't understand why people get divorce. that is a very sorrow and depressing thing. to all the human begin. Love should be simple. isn't it?

Love is an important part of marriage. But, it doesn't pay the bills and doesn't solve all your problems so it's possible for a marriage to fail even if people really love each other.

The thing you said is nice but life is not that simple ...when u marry someone u love it never implies that u will never have a bad situation with him/her...and when the situation get worse people feel its better to get seperated..... until u live with anyone u can never say he is the best life partner.......so " if we love someone we sometimes get divorce"

Ah when I read your post I wished I was 18 again and still thought that way! Love maybe should be simple but unfortunately it rarely is. Hopefully your experience of it will all be good.
