Mylot Reputation : Star Rating, do you know how to get it ?

Each member here in mylot has been given Mylot Reputation (star rating). But most of us do not know it, how to get. Very simple method. Put your cursher on your star rating say 8 or 9 or 10. After a second there will be a message of Mylot reputation 89/100 (in my case). You can check it daily. This is based on + or - marking on our comments/responses by other friends. So be cautious more on posting comments. Do not try to irritate others, may mark you -.

Sorry but I don't understand what you are saying .. I guess we get an increase in our star rating by getting + from members on mylot and decrease when we get - from members. My start count was 10 and it went down to 8 now .. as because I guess the most apparent reason for that is -- I got negatives.. some members gave me negatives here .. and so it happened .. Now I have started responding to only my friends discussions .. and because of this -- my star count is not decreasing and I hope that I will get an increase because now I am concentrating to respond to my friends discussions only.

I know the reputation is irrespective of my earning,but i also want my reputation to be highest.When i saw my reputation raised,i am so happy,becuase i got the "+" from another myloters.It means that many myloters like my discussions and responses.The reputation is a encouragement for me to make more quality discussions and responses.

the star rating in my opinion really doesn't matter.
it doesn't affect my earnings, so i am not too fussed how others rate me. i know that when i respond to a discussion i only write what i think is relevant to that discussion, i also only start a discussion if i think people will be interested in it.
if however someone rates me badly, i don't take it personally, it just means that they didn't agree with what i said.

yeah i know this.and i always mark a + for all discussion and comments i participated..i repeat i participated,not only the discusiion i have started.i believe in give and take policy,atleats it works for me.i ahve got a star rating 10!i never mark a - unless it contain very harsh and vulgur comment.honestly speaking i dont get any chances to rate a -.i rate + with posts with atleast 2 lines!otherwise i wont rate any!

Hello,pramodthakur ,yeah,it seems that not every members know how to get the rating as i have been asked by someone before on how to get their ratings.
I am not sure it will be updated everyday as i have experienced fluctuations during the days,it goes up and down in the same day,may be someone have given me positive but then other people have marked me down then.
