Cancer Wins

Once you have cancer, even if you get rid of it, it will come back. I talked to a man at the tire shop the other day that was just treated for his fourth different cancer. My wife's uncle died from his fourth different cancer. My uncle died from his second cancer. My neighbor to the east of me died from his second cancer. My neighbor to the south has had his second cancer. I have at present only had one, that was declared cured. Now my cancer markers (CEA levels) are rising over the last 3 doctors visits, which means my cancer is probably back somewhere. They have done CAT scans, xrays, and scopes, and have not determoned where it is this time. Once you have cancer, it will eventually kill you. It's just a matter of time. When they find out where my cancer is this time, I think I will just kill myself and get it over with.

Hey Coger. Cancer is indeed a hard disease, and people do die from it or get it a few times during their lives but.. there are some facts about it you should know, before you "just kill" yourself :
1) Cancer is usualy caused due to some genetic error. Not much to do about it but keep the other parameters on the good part. What are the other parameters? The way of life.
2) People who get cancer and are cured, usualt tend to return to their old habbits (work, play, food etc.). It is very likely that one or some of the old habits created/creates the possibility for the cancer to grow.
As you see, we have not much to do about genetics. But we have much to do about the way of life - prevention. If you are interested in a bit of optimistic information, contact me and I would gladly send you information.

That is indeed sad to hear but I do not think you should kill yourself. Life will never be normal and I am sure you will have emotional issues now and then. Lets see, what will I do if I am in your shoes? I would [probably give my best to the people around me cos I would like to leave pleasent memories behind after I am gone
