Do you enjoy Halloween?

Oh i used to be BIG into the haloween tricker treating, haha, i would go for hours and hours, it was too late to be out and about, but i would still be knocking on doors, filling up the pillow cases. One year i had a huge group of buddies just run around the neighborhood with me, we would split up, and come back together and tell eachother where the best houses were, i wish i could still do it, but i think there is a stage where you become the giver and not the taker.

Halloween is fun now that we have kids... I used to hate it when we lived in NY, because all the crazies came out at night, and Halloween seemed to be the night of the most hold-ups and robberies in the East Village. Then back in the 80s when someone was putting razor blades into apples and such put a damper on trick-or-treating for us. Now, though, we take our kids only to the neighbors we know and drive them to friends and relatives.

i used to really like going out and dressing up and all that good stuff. But as i got older i enjoiyed the dressing up part more than than anything. I can;t wait ti have my own kids to go back out and take then Trick or treating !! lol

I love it! I am also from a very small town here and when my kids were youngsters we only visited a few houses. What we started doing a couple years ago was a Haunted House. A neighbor down the road has an old barn that he lets us use. A bunch of us "adults" decorate and spook the kids. The kids love it and don't even miss the candy! Well, they still get some, as we have a witch in the kitchen that hands out the goodies on the way out the door after their 'fright' hehehe

My First Halloween, New To Canada from India

I love Halloween! Fall is a beautifull season and the cool nights are perfect for dressing up for trick-or-treat. Granted, I just pass out candy, but it's fun to dress up for it! And I love costume parties!

Yes! I love Hallowe'en. It is a chance to be someone you're not. I get all dress-up in a home-made custume, sometimes an imaginary thing, and go trick or treating with my grandchildren. This year we are all getting together at my daughter home. We are all bringing 'junk' and anything we can use to make a costume, and we are going to have a costume making party. We do this on the afternoon of Hallowe'en. That way when we're done making costumes we carry it outside and go trick or treating. I don't collect 'goodies', I just go along for the fun. We have such a good time. When we get back we all inspect the 'loot'.

I sure do. I love it even more now that I have my own kids. Before I had kids I would dress up and give out candy to all the kids. Now I dress up and take my kids out trick or treating. I love decorating for Halloween too and making crafts with my kids. yeah my neighbors dont go trick or treating as much either anymore but we still get quite a bit. I heard this year that the malls are going to be doing things for kids so maybe that would be fun.

of course:) especially young kids:) hehe.. can you guess why?? your right! because of the candy!!!!!

I do enjoy halloween, I wish I had more spare time to spend with the kids and decorating.

It's my least favorite holiday out of all of them.
