Yes for business appl. PC's are most suitable, but for personal and educational purposes many prefer mac.

I don't mind either way but if I had money I would buy a mac as my traveling laptop and maybe a pc for the home. I have an Ibook4 and I take that to and from America when I go to my hubby. He bought that for me as a getting together present and It has served me well, no viruses and no headaches..I only changed the hard drive once and it cos less in the States..So when my online businesses pay me a bit more I will invest in a new laptop with wi-fi so I can do presentations for my businesses whenever and wherever I want..

Yes thats the downside and also many of the PC software will not run on mac os, but you can now run windows on mac and also all the other pc software along with them, if they reduce price many will buy.

I think the only reason PC's are more popular than macs, is the fact that you can build them by yourself and save extra money, and they are not as expensive in the first place.

Probably a PC. I'm too use to it over a Mac. I haven't used one in over 10 years. I all ready got a PC so I'd probably stick with PCs most likely.

basing from familiarity with the software and hardware, i still would choose the pc. i am fun of installing stuff to my pc and if i ever mess up with my system, i can easily fix it by formating or try to troubleshoot it. which i think i cant do in a mac computer. like all people i am not familiar with mas os. and pc'c now adays dont perform bad, since we already have dual core and quadcore processor pc's.
