yups as said before nothing in this world is free
but if you want to have a free domain (that is without paying money)
then you should check out www.hostingforum.ca
there you can make points with posting and then get a free domain from the shop with points

if u r a american resident then u can
have a domain name for free,
otherwise u'll have 2 go for
free servers which attach their
name also with ur domain name.

never heard of any site where you get or dont get domains depending on nationality?

i don't think you can get anything for free here, if u get free domain, u won't get good hosting space
if u get both , u get banners and if every thing is correct it won't be ftp and also it will limit your file size upload to 1 mb2mb
