What was the greatest football (soccer) match you have ever seen?My vote is Brazil-Italy from the World Championship in 1982.Brazil had a fantastic team then and they were the absulute favourites. But Italy (and Paolo Rossi) rised again from the dead and won 3-2.

my favourite football game of all time would have to be when man utd won the champions league in 1999 it was a great game and for us to score those two goals so late in the game made that game my favourite of all time

hi guys For me the 2 Liverpool V Newcastle games which ended in a 4-3 win for Liverpool are up there. More recently Liverpools comeback against Ac Milan in the champians league final was sensational. Dont't thinks we'll ever see a final like that again

That brazil vs italy game was before my time so i have to go for a more recent game. The European champions league final in 1999. Bayern Munich vs Manchester United, with two minutes to go Utd are 1-0 down and a comeback that was simply exceptional. Goals from Sheringham and Solksjaer turned the game on its head, i was going wild as i watched the game that seemed to be beyond the red devils. It was just an incredible game in a incredible atmosphere and it will live long in my memory.
