i think its time for a new discusion on the greatness of metallica lol , well how many of you have actually seen metallica live? where, when and what rating out of ten do you give there performance at that gig ?

i saw Metallica in Mexico city, when Jason newsteed was in the band, in 2001 or 2002. this concert was great, the line up including pantera. this concert was in a big stadium (FORO SOL) and the people get crazy when pantera started to play, the chairs and some metallic walls was trown away and some people get hurts.
metallica played great and the concert was one of the best that i ever see

I saw them headline at reading a few years ago. Their performance was awesome but they did too much of their st. Anger album (new stuff at the time) which was good but more of their classic's would have been better for people who didn't know them that well, it was a festival after all.

Last time i saw them i was lucky enough to heard the whole of Master of puppets played loud in front of me , they even played there new song called "The New song" it was great loved every minute of it , even had a deodrant can thrown at my nose , was worth the wait .

They're my favorite band, and also the one that got me into metal, but sadly, I have to admit that I still haven't seen them live. I've seen videos and all that kind of stuff, but I haven't actually gone to one of their concerts. I think the problem is that I've been waiting for them to come to me. Well they did once and I couldn't go at the time, but now if they even come remotely near me I'll travel to see 'em and that'll fix that problem lol.

The Metallica band is great... no doubt about it, i am not able to see them live which i wish to do but listening to them is always a great feeling, hope you will share something about metallica and give me more information about them.

Well Metallica are playing at Wembley in London (Uk) next month and i canit wait to see them i have seen them 3 times before once at 2 x Download festival the first year Lars Ulrich wasnt able to attend to play drums so they got a few other people from other bands to help out with the set list it was great!
