keeping my computer clean while making money online / myLot

Now that I've joined a few paid per clik and the like sites I'm wondering if this could be a treat for my computer. Are there any hints for keeping the computer safe and clean? Thanks!

I would definitely install anti-virus and ant-adware, and set both to run nightly. Just keep up with your routine PC maintainence. Run disk clean up and defrag every 30 days. Most of those site (if you joined the right ones) will not harm your PC. Golden rule: NEVER download anything - even if it pays you $10. I belong to a few GPT to sites and have not had any issues with them so far.

I haven't had any problems with automatic download. I think you need to change your security settings (tool - options) to warn you when a site is trying to download something to your PC.
