Canned is last on my list.
Fresh is best and then frozen. That was not an option however we buy most of our foods frozen. We eat most of the fresh foods first and then til next payday eat the frozen more. Canned is for when money is tight and we need it to fill in til next we have the funds to shop normally.

Hello tamana!:-)
It depends if I have time or not here. If I do have time I always prefer fresh and untreated vegetables, fruits and meat (including fish). It is without any doubt that they are better in taste as well as in nutrition. They also smell better than canned food.
But, if I don't have much time and given the fact that I can't cook many things, I prefer canned food since they are very easy to prepare, no hard work involved and there is not much time consumption. They are also very cheap here compared to fresh edible items because of mass production.
In conclusion, I use both types depending upon time and work involved as well as the cost factor:-)

I love fresh food and sometimes I crave for canned foods like the corned beef and spam.. but most of the time, my family is into cooked meals at home...it is more healthier and tasteful than caneed goods with lots of preservatives.

Of course fresh food is beautiful but canned food is also good. It's good to have cans of soup and stew and baked beans etc in the cupboard for emergencies. My fiance also likes eating canned peas and carrots and all he has to do is heat them in the microwave (because steaming them is waaaaayy too much effort for him!)

I buy a little bit of both...some foods to stock up on liked canned tuna or soups...but I do prefer fresh foods more, although will often buy something like frozen vegetables...Actually what most people don't realize is that frozen vegetables are actually "fresher" in a way...they are frozen the moment they are picked...fresh foods might be sitting on stockrooms for a long time before put into supermarkets

I dont like canned food that much though i keep alot of different things around that are canned so if i need something quicly then i have it. I like fresh foods but it isnt always possible to get them either so My very favorite of anything is frozen food, veggies, meats, you name it and you can freeze it i have got it.

I love fresh foods. I would definitely choose fresh veggies over canned. Also, if I were going to make salmon or tuna, fresh is way better than canned. By using fresh foods, I find myself going to the grocery more often during the week.
