Have you tried cutting your own hair?

I have tried it but not my whole hair, only my bangs. I had an experience cutting hair with style and that was when me and my cousin experimented her hair. I never knew that i have a talent in cutting hair. Hehehehe.

I have to say I got so disgusted with my hair one day and couldn't afford the haircut so I did cut it myself. Luckily my neice lived nearby and knows how to use a pair of scissors on hair. She saved the day! Literally :)

Your lucky to have a niece like her and good thing she's just nearby. Atleast, next time if you need a hair cutter you would just call your niece to do it for you. :D

I was very much so. Since then I've relocated so no, I will not put a pair of scissors to my hair now - regardless of how disgusted I am with it and how tight finances are. Now I just pull it back except for job interviews.

no, i'd be too scared to do that. i really don't want my hair to go all goofy just cos i cut it myself. but i have tried a cutting my fringe a couple of times whenever it grows a little longer since there is no point of going to the salon to get it cut.

I think if your too scared to cut your own hair it's really better to go to a hairdresser. But if your only problem is your fringe, then it's better to cut it by yourself.

I've been cutting my own hair since I was 16. Before I used to go to a hairdressers, but after getting two horrible haircuts I simply didn't want to go back, so I decided to start cutting my own hair. I use good sharp scissors and need a bit of help for the back, but for the most part I can always do it good! It helps me save a lot of money, too and if I mess up I only have myself to blame. This has never happened though, plus my hair grows fast anyway.

Sometimes i do get a bad haircut too when i let hairdressers do the haircut for me. Whenever i ask them to cut just a little amount of hair because i'm letting my hair grow out, then they will still cut it very short.

I do that all the time. I don't like going to the barber or going to the salon to get my hair done because I went there once and I didn't like the way they cut my hair. So I've always cut it myself. (",)

Sometimes it is also good to cut our own hair because we can do the style we want. Besides that we could also save money because we don't have to go to salon just for a haircut.

If you want to cut your own hair try to cut it vertically and start with a small amount of hair. You could also buy styling scissors which is available in stores. Another thing, you could also do internet searching on how to cut hair. Let us know what will be the result, ok.
