I think I can't live without since my job also depends on it. I'm working as a full time technical support for a laptop manufacturer and we use the internet for just about every issue that we encounter with the laptop, whether it will be related to software or hardware issues. The internet acts not just the information superhighway but a medium to communicate with people from all over the world. I often used it to communicate with my brother in the US and my family located out of town. The internet gave us the power to express ourselves by designing our own websites, friendster accounts, by blogging, by sharing what we have with other people, etc. The internet eased our lives in general, everything can be done on and through the internet as well as working at home; you don't need to go to your office to work on something since you can actually access your computer at work at your home; you can do shopping and surveilance at home. Everything can also be downloaded on the internet, via file sharing programs, peer to peer software, etc. Researches are far more relatively easy to do rather than going to the library to write down and collate items on lots of books under the subject matter. Everything else will be possible in the near future. Technology is really unstoppable; everyday a new thing comes up and the only thing that stays is change. I definitely can't leave without using the internet, it's a part of everyone's life; I believe you will also feel the same as always.

Thanks for your good and long answer. It is very helpful. I understand what you feel, as what you have said your job depends on internet and i know how hard it is to live without it, especially if you really need it for work.

I agree with you. It will be totally boring! No downloads, no games, no online earnings, and some other stuff.

At present, I can't live without Internet because most of my jobs are related to Internet. Internet has become the way of my life. I read news from Internet. I've also learned new things from Internet. So, Internet may have become a basic need that is like electricity.

You're right, internet is really needed nowadays because it helps us in different ways. We do things easier because of internet and we learned a lot from it.

HEL NO! NO WAY!!! Without the internet, all I got is the TV, and the internet has more interactivity and a lot more features! Think of the internet as a DVD for television with extra features, and the internet's a virtual Library of Alexandria! I can even download a lot of free stuff off the internet. So it'd be like the Dark Ages without the Internet, or even the World Wide Web.

If its part of my daily routine, I guess I would really have a hard time going through each day but, if its not really a big part of my life, I guess I'll just go along with the usual routine that I have always been doing. Literally, yeah, we can all live without it but, its really convenient when we do have it with us.

I also communicate with my friends and with my father online. It is really hard without communication, especially without seeing them on cam.

I have had to go without internet for quite a while, but I did miss it. I missed checking my email. Did I go through withdrawls or anything like that - nope.

If I'm expected to make money online then no. If it's just for chatting then maybe. I'd rather have the internet than not have it at all. That's just how I am.
